Funds raised from our sculpture exhibitions have helped a co-operative of sculptors near Harare in Zimbabwe.
Funds from our 2012 sculpture show enabled a borehole to be drilled so that the sculptors could access water on their site. As part of the 2014 exhibition we imported a number of sculptures created by the artists in the co-operative and these went on display alongside the main sculpture exhibition. Money raised from these sales helped the co-operative build an exhibition hall and schoolroom. In 2016, we hope the sale of the latest shipment of their sculptures will allow further development of the co-operative.
