Since graduating with a First from Liverpool University in Fine Art and Psychology, Christopher has been practicing his art from Ascott-Under-Wychwood, Oxfordshire.
Christopher’s work challenges sculptural space being wall, ceiling or floor based. Throughout his work there is an awareness and interest in line, form and balance inspired by his personal interest in Tai chi and kick boxing which helps him understand the balance of the human form, and aids concentration to enable Christopher to work with vigour.
Christopher’s inspiration comes from his rural studio environment with links to the surrounding landscape as well as a strong influence of the sea and things watery born from visits to Devon and Cornwall.
Christopher is excited by the thought of creating a unique visual language, an individual way in which one is describing and interpreting a journey through life and responses to stimuli, feelings and emotions.
