Henrietta Bud

Henrietta has a degree in the History of Art from Cambridge University and trained in Fine Arts in London and Belgium.   She works in a variety of different media, enjoying the rich and diverse impact that each material brings to a sculpture.

Henrietta places a lot of emphasis on drawing and on how her pieces interact with their environment.  Her steel profile sculptures, for example, are designed to be seen as drawings on the landscape, while her pencil pieces act on the landscape itself bringing the viewer into direct communication with both the sculpture and its surroundings.

Henrietta’s work is often figurative but delights in the unusual.  She exhibits internationally and has work in private and public collections across Europe.  She welcomes commissions.
