Samar Sharif

Samar Sharif lives and sculpts in Warwickshire.  She began sculpting in stone under the tutelage of sculptor and artist Jude Tucker. Having found great enjoyment in the course she has carried on sculpting for the last eleven years. She works in a variety of stones but currently favours Alabaster, which she sculpts into abstract forms. With these she wants to express an organic flow and movement with the stone that inspires calmness and relaxation and creates a tactile aspect to her work.
